We found this warm, sunny spot in Butano State Park, where we had been camping. Max, Amy (Max's momma), Azu, Poppy, Julius, and Robbie. We threw rocks in the water, and climbed over the creek on a huge log.

[Thanks to Beth & Robert for these photos, since our camera was on the blink.]

Tide-pooling near Pescadero. No starfish, but we got to hold hermit crabs in our hands. If you wait long enough, they come out of their shell and crawl around on your hand!

Our first family trip on CalTrain! Julius said "Apple" instead of "Cheese", so that explains his facial expression.

This contraption would keep the wiffle ball suspended in an air stream while people took turns whacking it. Julius did a great job keeping his eye on the ball, and hit it several times.

There were some cool paddle boats, with cranks that controlled each paddle. It was kinda crowded in the pool, but still fun.
