Checkin' out the Morgan Ranch at the trailhead. They breed horses as patrol mounts for the rangers.

Apogee of our hike, a lovely, warm meadow. We then ran downhill, startling the other hikers a little bit, but having a good time. I wish we could have taken a photo from the point of view of the hikers we passed, with Julius squealing, holding his legs in the air, and Daddy clomping behind at full stride in his hiking boots, pushing him in the stroller.

Hiking Bear Valley Trail in Point Reyes. We didn't see any bears, but were on the lookout the whole time.

More gymnastics ... that's Julius with the glowing eyes.

Drake's Bay oyster farm includes this cool little bulldozer. The oysters were tasty, too.

Happy Birthday, Momma! (Well, it was a little early, but we celebrated anyway.)
