Defensive Gardening

Julius came up with the idea to protect this strawberry plant from birds by arranging these spikes in a defensive perimeter. Now we just need to protect the plant from the spikes.

 

Julius drew this man just now.  It's a special kind of paper that has the colorful background that is revealed by removing the black.  We're not sure what inspired this.

We watched Sterling Johnson, The Bubblesmith.  He put Julius inside a bubble!

The second expedition, featuring friends from school, brings to end two weeks of birthday celebrations. Whew!
