Wake-up call

Sunday morning, we're still in bed, and we hear stirrings from Julius's room. Then, in a booming theatrical voice, he says:

"Everybody: Awaken! Everybody: Awaken!"

Julius sports a Giants jersey that Daddy picked up at the company offsite.

It's all coming back ... Daddy feeds Solomon.

Day trip to Ann Arbor.

This is the ballpark where the Detroit baseball team plays. I can't remember the name of the team. It's some kind of animal.

They fled, the waves, as we pelted them with stones, but always, they returned with reinforcements, and we'd be forced to retreat, sparing ourselves the indignity of a cold, salty bath.

 

The pterodactyl kite, which we named Flappy Feet, performed admirably on the thermals over this cliff, a hundred feet or more above the water.

 

We celebrated Fathers Day today at Rockaway Beach, Pacifica.  Here's a family shot taken with the timer, camera perched on a boulder.

Samy & Julius enjoy a little gardening. This also included some pillbug wrangling and mud bucket scooping.
